Biography
American noted family, the daughter of Marlon Brando and his wife, Tarita Teriipia, born in her mother's locale, Tahiti. When she was 20, she was living in her dad's house in Bel Aire, CA and pregnant by her beau, Dag Drollet (born 8/16/1963, Papeete). Her half-brother, Christian, got into an argument with Dag about whether or not Dag was beating Cheyenne, and in the ruckus, Christian shot Dag to death, 5/16/1990.
During the trial, Cheyenne fled to her mother's home in Tahiti where she gave birth to her son, Tuki, six weeks later, 6/30/1990.
Publicity and legal stress followed her and in the next four years, Cheyenne made three suicide attempts. On the fourth attempt, she succeeded and was found hanging in the bedroom on 4/16/1995. A week or two prior, a judge had refused her custody of her son due to her instability, awarding his care to Dag's relatives. She was buried in Faaa, near Papeete, close to Dag.
Her father died on July 1, 2004 of pulmonary fibrosis.
