Biography
Canadian musician and composer and Professor of Composition at McGill University, he conducts the Contemporary Music Ensemble and organises the festivals Montréal Nouvelles-Musiques and MusiMars.He has worked with a number of ensembles, orchestras and noted musicians including the Bozzini Quartet, Heidelberg Philharmonisches Orchester, l'Orchestre Symphonique de Québec and Pinchas Zuckerman. In 1987 he was awarded the Jules Léger Prize for New Chamber Music.
