Biography
French pioneer pilot of the '30s who set seven world records and was called the "fastest pilot in the world." On 8/11/1933, she set a speed record of 444 kilometers per hour (276 mph) in her Cudron Rafall. Boucher trained to become a couturiere up until her first plane ride on 7/04/1930. Captivated, she then saved her money for six months to pay for lessons.
Killed in a spin-and-crash on 11/30/1934.
