Biography

Belgian scientist, a bacteriologist and physiologist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1919. He isolated the bacterium that causes whooping cough. The bacteria, bordetella pertussis, was named after him.

Bordet died on 4/06/1961, Brussels, Belgium.
