Biography
American musician, guitarist and vocalist of Minutemen, a Californian punk rock group.
Boon joined the musical group Reactionaries in 1979. In January 1980 he formed his next group, Minutemen. The group continued until his death. On December 22, 1985 he was riding in the rear of a van, lying down without a seat belt. The van went off the road and he was flung out the back door, breaking his neck and dying instantly, age 27.
