Biography
American pro athlete, a baseball player with the Atlanta Braves, Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners. After his major league debut on May 4, 1977, he played 10 seasons.
After his retirement which came after suffering a bout of Valley Fever that caused him to lose strength and stamina, he pursued a variety of interests, earning his pilot's license, becoming a Mormon bishop, selling medical equipment and founding an importing business. He and his wife have five children.
