Biography

Scottish-British author and actor of London stage from 1937 and film from 1946. Bond served in the British Grenadier Guards during WW II and was awarded the Military Cross. Upon his release he signed with the Rank organization and has since played leading roles in British film. From 1984-1986, he served as President of the British Actors Equity and is the author of several books including "Steady Old Man."
