Luigi Boccherini

Biography

Italian virtuoso, an eminent cellist and one of the leading composers of the latter 18th century. He spent most of his life in Madrid, but did concert tours throughout Europe as he was deemed, more and more, an important composer.

Died on 5/28/1805, Madrid.
