Ann Blyth

Biography

American singer and actress from 1944 to 1957, at which time she retired. Her films included "The Great Caruso," "Student Prince" and "Mildred Pierce," for which she was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Throughout her career, Blyth continued to sing in musical theater and light-opera productions. In 1953, she was married to Dr. James McNulty; they had five kids, one in 1954, 1955, 1957, 1960 and 1963.
