Biography

American actress, a professional violinist prior to her film debut in 1941 in "Three Girls About Town." Co-featured as a vivacious leading lady in the '40s, she made her stage debut in 1949 in "For Love Or Money." Capable and versatile, she worked as a nightclub entertainer, and also had a TV series, "The Smith Family," which ran from 1970-1971. She was married in 1953 and had two kids.
