Biography
American basketball star, a 6' 9", 220 lb. pro with the Boston Celtics. He was drafted in the 6th overall pick in 1978 NBA draft and played pro for 13 years. A sure-shooting, slick passing forward, he was elected as NBA's most valuable player three times.
On 8/18/1992 he retired due to chronic back problems, planning to continue with the Celtics in an administrative post.
