Biography

Scottish newsreader, proof-reader, journalist and TV personality. Bird started performing in nightclubs from the age of 11. As a youth, she did proof-reading for Jackie magazine, initiating its horoscope column. Later a journalist with a tabloid, she moved into TV as a respected, professional television presenter and reporter.
