Biography

French swimmer and Olympic champion, the athlete won three medals at the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing. He took a gold and a bronze in freestyle races and helped his team to a silver in the 4 x 100m relay.

In 2007 he turned in an impressive performance in the 100m freestyle when he came in second and in the 50m freestyle when he posted the fastest time in the world for that year. In the 2008 European championships he broke three records for speed in the 50m and 100m free style in one week.
