Biography
American film maker, a cameraman until cataracts on both eyes forced him to change his venue to producing and directing. He worked in the genres of westerns, spy films, action adventures, crime thrillers, detective dramas and musical westerns, with B flics that ran from "The Pecos Kid," 1935 to "Cop Hater," 1958.
Berke died in February 15, 1958 in Los Angeles, age 54.
