Biography
American attorney who has filed several controversial lawsuits against government officials, including Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
Berg filed charges in 2004 on behalf of a World Trade Center employee that President George W. Bush was part of a conspiracy responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. In 2008 he charged that Barack Obama is not legally entitled to be President of the United States, claiming that Obama was not born in the US despite evidence to the contrary (a Hawaiian birth certificate and newspaper birth announcements). Both of these lawsuits have been dismissed or denied court proceedings. In 2001 he asked Supreme Court Justices O'Connor, Scalia and Thomas to voluntarily step down from the bench for their role in Bush v. Gore in the US Presidential elections of that year. He was unsuccessful.

Steven Stuckey quotes him quoting birth certificate (born at the Albert Einstein Medical Center). Although war time was in effect at the time of Berg's birth, standard time is assumed here because of Pennsylvania's law requiring hospitals to record births prior to 1972 in standard time. Although Amanda Owen has done extensive research on many hospitals (see http://www.amandaowen.com/PA_Time_Project.htm), it is not known as of this writing, whether Albert Einstein Medical Center followed this law. Steven Stuckey writes that he "called the Medical Records at Albert Einstein and they weren't very helpful in determining the way times were recorded prior to 1972 (when all birth records in PA were supposed to be recorded in Standard Time)."
