Biography
American born daughter of noted family, Canadian actor Gil Bellows and his wife, actress Rya Kihlstedt. The child, named Ava after after Ava Gardner, "made her appearance with a bang" according to the news article about her birth. It seems that just as the baby wailed her first cry, a mirror fell from the wall and shattererd. The child was born at home in a natural birth attended by a midwife.
