Biography

American golfer, she turned pro in 1950 and later taught and wrote about the game. She is a founding member of the LPGA. With her husband, pro basketball player, Warren Bell, she owns and operates a North Carolina country club.

She and Warren married in 1953 and had two daughters. He died in 1984.
