Biography
New Zealand born American child of American diplomat, Ambassador Josiah Beeman and his second wife Susan. Her parents were stationed in New Zealand at the time; she is the couple's first child and the first child to be born to a serving American ambassador in NZ. Her dad served in that post from 1994-1999.
Her dad died of renal failure at age 70 on June 14, 2006 in Arlington, VA.
