Biography
Italian-American activist with the Black Panthers in 1969, a black extremist group. She had moved to the U.S. in 1961 with her family. On 11/09/1982, she was arrested and accused of acts of terrorism and murder and on 2/15/1984, she was sentenced to 40 years prison. The Italian government requested her extradition many times and in June 1999, reached an agreement with American authorities. Baraldini was transferred to an Italian prison in August 1999.
