French singer and songwriter, occasionnally actor, of Corsican descent. His stage name comes from Barnabé, a famous clown he admired during his childhood. He began to work in the cinema, as assistant for "Le Brasier" (1991) and then he wrote a serie for French television. He was inspired by several singers, from Jacques Higelin to Tom Waits. His genre of music is a kind of "modern guinguette".
