Biography
American company's first test flight of new plane, the 787 built by Boeing Aircraft Co. The plane left Snohomish County Airport in Everett, WA) and landed three hours and four minutes later at Boeing Field in Seattle, WA. Called The Dreamliner, the plane is smaller and lighter some of its giant predecessors. It is built of lightweight composite materials and is reported to me the most fuel-efficient commercial aircraft built thus far.
