Biography
Canadian musician, a bass player in Hole and Smashing Pumpkins. The daughter of a journalist turned politician, she studied photography in college. She joined Hole in 1994 but left in October 1999. A few weeks later she joined the group Smashing Pumpkins and stayed until the group's breakup in 2000. She released her first solo album in 2004.
She survived a bout of swine flu in the summer of 2009.
