Biography
French director who began as a script girl in 1933 before becoming an assistant director. She directed her first film in 1943 and her first feature in 1945. Most of her scripts were written by her husband, Pierre Laroche, showing a penchant for psychological themes. Her sister, Colette, is also a noted scholar and screenwriter.
Audry died in June 22, 1977 in a car accident in France, age 68.
