Biography

French ballet dancer. He studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School and joined the Opera in 1957, being promoted to premier danseur, 1962, and danseur etoile, 1964. As a choreographer, he created roles in Bejart's "The Damnation of Faust," 1964, followed by other roles.
