Biography
American astrology organization, the Association for Astrological Networking incorporation chart. It began as a legal entity officially at this time when the Secretary of the State of California affixed his seal to AFAN's Article of Incorporation. The procedure to declare a legal entity was begun almost three years prior.
AFAN is an advocacy organization that addresses community concerns and media treatment. The Steering Committee meets by telephone conference-call. Once a year, on the vernal equinox, it promotes local Astrology Day activities worldwide. It has been one of the
three sponsors of UAC since its inception in 1985; and will be again in 2002.
AFAN publishes a 16-20 page newsletter four times a year, maintains an extensive website (www.AFAN.org), and two email lists.
