Biography
American kidnap and homicide victim who disappeared 9/09/1978, 4:00 PM at the age of 15. Murdered by James Kater, her body was found 11/11/1978, tied to a tree. Kater was convicted of her murder in 1979 and 1986, but the trial was overturned due to improperly obtained evidence from the witnesses. He was still in jail in 1993 awaiting his third trial.
