Biography
Mexican head of a kidnapping gang who amassed a fortune of millions of dollars in ransom. When captured, he had about a million dollars in his car; he was quite indifferent about the money but enjoyed the thrill of the capture. With callous and casual viciousness, he cut the ears off his victims to mail to the family; women captives were uniformly raped. A criminal involved in mostly car theft, in 1995 his organization began to build kidnapping into a thriving cottage industry. He was captured on 8/18/1998.
