Biography
Nigerian ecclesiastic, Roman Catholic Cardinal he is head of diocese of Onitsha, Nigeria and a member of the College of Cardinals.
Ordained in November 23, 1958 in Rome, he was elected titular bishop of Fissiana and appointed coadjutor of Onitsha, July 6, 1965 and consecrated on August 29, 1965. He was promoted to the position of Bishop of Onitsha, Nigeria, June 26, 1967.
He was made a Cardinal on May 25, 1985.
