Biography
American child sex abuser, jailed in 1987 after 13 kids who attended Fells Acre School testified about rape and abuse at the shocking trial. The school was established by her mother, Violet Amirault, 65, who was included in the accusations along with her brother Gerald, who was given a 30+ year sentence. (Cheryl's married name was LeFave.)
Cheryl and Violet were freed from prison in 1995 when a lower court overturned their conviction and ordered a new trial. On 3/24/1997, the Massachusetts Superior Court overturned that ruling and reinstated the conviction, ordering the two back to prison.
