Biography

American who was the unofficial wife of Mohammad Ali, the boxer according to news reports from The Chronicle Telegram in Elyria Ohio, December 20, 1984 and the Syracuse Herald Journal on March 23, 2001, submitted by Nick Dagan Best.

She met Ali in 1973, when she was a 17 year old beauty. She married him in an unofficial Muslim ceremony in May 1975 after giving birth to an illegitimate duaghter, Khaliah, in September 1974. The marriage was not legally recognized. On December 19, 1984, she filed a $2 million palimony suit against Mohammad Ali, more than four years after their relationship ended in August 1980.

In 2013, she carries the name Aaisha Fletcher, from her marriage to Larry Fletcher, and works as real estate agent in Pennsylvania. She is the mother of eight children.
