Prince (1844) Alfred

Biography

British royalty, Queen Victoria's fourth child, the Duke of Edinburgh and later Duke of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. Known for an abominable temper and lack of tact.

He died of throat cancer at 22:00 on 30 July 1900 at Rosenau Castle, Coburg, age 55.
