Biography

Crash of Yemenia Airlines Flight 626 into the Indian Ocean near its destination of Grande Comore Island. The Airbus 310 carried 142 passengers and 11 crew members on a flight that originated in Yemen's capital, Sanaa. News reports said that the plane took off from Sanaa shortly before 10 p.m. on June 29, 2009. Its last siting by radar was about 16 miles from Comoros' capital city Moroni at 1:51 AM on June 30, 2009. Only one passenger survived, a young girl named Bahia Bakari.
