Biography

Italian plane accident at Milan's Linate airport in which 120 people were killed. With a runway shrouded in fog, an SAS (Scandinavian Airways System) Boeing MD-87 struck a small German Cessna on the runway and lost control, smashing into a baggage-handling hangar, which burst into flames and collapsed.

The ministry confirmed that all the passengers, including 48 Italians, on the SAS flight and the four people on board the Cessna were killed, two German pilots and two Italian passengers. The number of people in the hangar is not certain.
