Biography
Ecuador jet crash of a Tupolev 154 when the plane plummeted from the sky shortly after takeoff; cause undetermined. The death toll numbered 74 people on board the plane, five kids who were playing at the crash site and five other pedestrians. At least 21 passengers survived the crash.
