Biography
Belgian crowded commuter train slammed head on into an oncoming locomotive at Pecrot, 15 miles east of Brussels on Tuesday, killing at least eight and injuring nine people in Belgium's worst rail accident since 1974. An empty train was rising on the wrong side of the tracks at about 55 mph. Hours later, rescue teams were still trying to untangle wreckage in rescue attempts.
